How to install a “.cab” file to my Windows Mobile Phone or SmartPhone:
make sure you already have ActiveSync Version 4.0 or up install on your PC.
USB cable is connected your PDA Phone throughout the entire installation process
After finishing download procedure and “Save as” window opens, you have to choose “Desktop” and click “Save”.
Open your Microsoft ActiveSync and click the “Explore” icon
Your PDA Phone will open with several icons inside. Then double click “My Pocket PC” icon
Double click the “Windows” folder, the “Start Menu” folder, and then the “Programs” folder
You will copy and paste or Drag the “.cab” file into the “Program” folder
Then the file will start to be converted to mobile device format
When the file has been converted, you can unplug your PDA Phone from the USB ActiveSync cable.
On your PDA Phone click “start” menu, then “Programs”
Choose the .CAB file and it will unpack and leave the file in the program folder
Now your installation is completed. Enjoy your new program.
